The Blue MoonTheatre is a non-profit, all-volunteer community theatre. Each of our 6 -8 shows per season are produced by our volunteer board of directors. We hire artistic staff for each production – directors, choreographers, vocal directors, etc. We rely on community volunteers to help us with all other functions such as costuming, make up, set building, set painting, box office and the like. On average, we expend 20,000 volunteer hours to get each of our shows into production.
To help out, you need not be a theatre professional or even have experience in theatre. We will train you as you work side by side with people just like yourself.
